Fez-se justiça. O referendo irlandês ao Tratado de Lisboa venceu por mais de 67% e finalmente quebrou-se o impasse que assombrava a União Europeia. Críticas já foram feitas de que a repetição do referendo foi anti-democrática, visto que o povo irlandês já se tinha pronunciado. Eu continuo a acreditar que atitude anti-democrática seria um só país travar o progresso de toda uma organização que luta por uma verdadeira união europeia.Justice has been made. Critics have been made that the repetition of the referendum was anti-democratic, since the irish people had already decided on the treaty. I still believe that the anti-democratic attitude would be to allow a single country to stop the progress of an entire organization that fights for a true european union.
